My wife has had two test come back that possibly leads to cancer. She has another test scheduled for Thursday 21, 2013 at 10:00AM. If this test is bad then the next step is a biopsy. She is very scared and nervous. There is no doubt this has shook her faith. I have found it very difficult to Pastor my wife in this matter because I am also worried.
I sure covet each and every prayer on her behalf.

Both of you are in my prayers.
I know the stress of wondering whether my wife was benign or malignant. Ended up my wife was benign and I hope you experience the same relief.

I remember how both my wife and I were so scared during the time between her preliminary tests and her biopsy. It's quite stressful on everyone.
Please don't take this wrong because I mean it in the most gentle and caring way: perhaps it's time to call in some reinforcements so you can concentrate on supporting your loved-one instead of taking on a pastoral role. We often think (and I speak from experience on this) that we can take on more than our role as a husband, a son, etc. and that job is overwhelming enough when it comes to life-and-death situations, whether they be immediate or potential ones.
Good thoughts and prayers y'alls way.

My wife was diagnosed with uterine cancer. While waiting for surgery she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery and radiation both are gone. In today's world a diagnosis of cancer is far from a death sentence. In fact it can easily be a bump in the road of a long life. I pray God gives you both the peace that passes understanding and the knowledge that when He is with you no one (or disease) can be against you. The days ahead will be fraught with concern, but the outcome will almost certainly be positive. Have faith.
