Prayers requested for a great friend of the forum

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

I just got off the phone with Tom. He's headed back into surgery tomorrow and they're going to open him up and try again to fix what apparently they failed at the first time. It's much more serious now and the potential for complete recovery is much less than before.

He needs your thoughts and prayers now more than ever.

Just wanted to update everyone. Tom went back into surgery and it appears to have been a success. He's now back in the transitional care unit and hopefully on the road to recovery this time.

Thanks for all the prayers, keep'em coming.

To all my good friends on the forum:

I can't thank you enough for your kind words and thoughts and prayers. I did get out of the hospital the first of November, but was only out less than two weeks before I had to go back in again. This time, they split open my knee to clean out infection that had developed there. I've been home about a week for the second time and am on extended IV antibiotics for the rest of the month. I hope they get me cleaned out this time so I can get back to business.

I will never be able to thank you enough for your thoughts and prayers. Being stuck in the hospital for six months takes its toll. I'm confined to using crutches or a wheel chair and will probably remain so for a year, but at least I'm semi-mobile.

With luck, I hope to be at the TSRA show and banquet, and hopefully, I'll see you there.

Tom
