Prayers for my dad

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers for my dad

#1

Post by brewdawg »

I found out about 6 weeks ago that my dad has ALS (Lou Gehrig's). They go back to Houston the first week in August to see what sort of progression can be determined. I would appreciate your prayers for both my mom and dad during this time. So far things to still be ok. He is still able to work and do most things normally.

How's this for timing? I just got a report that he is being moved into a room, hopefully by noon. The lungs obviously are not a problem. Praise God!!

The prayers are much appreciated. Things are going ok right now. There is some concern about his breathing, which is one of the big things with ALS. They are going back to Houston for follow-up in May.

Continued prayers for strength and healing would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone...
