Re: Prayers for Joe.
Joe finally got his test results back, and there is no more sign of cancer.
He, along with the rest of the family, were very moved by the outpouring of prayers, and good wishes from forum members. They all wanted me to give you a heartfelt THANK YOU!!
Joe still has some recovery time from his surgeries, but is in good spirits and getting stronger everyday.
I tell everyone that this is best group of folks I have ever associated with, and how much you mean, not only to me, but to those you don't know. Thanks again.

God is still good.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

Re: Prayers for Joe.
Joe was just admitted with cardiac arrest. It's not looking good for him right now. They do have his heart beating on its own, but he is not expected to survive. He is a Christian, was re-baptized about 5 years ago.
The doctors just came and said that there is no hope. Please pray for our family. He leaves behind, his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He has been a rock, for our family, and all of those who knew him. Thanks in advance.

Praying for your entire family to find comfort, and also praising God that he allowed Joe a few extra months to spend the holidays with y'all (if it's within His timing to take Joe this time). It sounds like Joe will leave a lasting legacy on your family.

Re: Prayers for Joe.
Joe has moved on to his heavenly reward. We left behind, can only mourn his passing, and celebrate his life. Expectedly, sadness rules the day for now, but he left behind a very strong willed, and resilient family. Thanks for all of the prayers. They will be needed, in the days to come. I just ask that God wrap his comforting arms around those who are left to remember Joe, and his legacy, that will become even more apparent, as we move forward.
