Is the RSD representatives not answering?

I have been trying to get a hold of someone at the RSD, but every time I call I get a recording telling me that I may experience longer than usual hold times and to try my call later, and then it hangs up on me.
is their a better number than this one (512) 424-7293?

Unfortunately no. There are thousands and thousands of people waiting just like you. Some are calling every day it seems. The people at RSD are simply overloaded with the recent flood of new applicants. Give them time, they're working on catching up on the backlog.

The only time I have called I got a message saying I could be put on a call back list (which I did). They called about a half hour later, so weird it is hit or miss on if you can get through.

The reason they are slammed is cause lots of applicants call every single day. They're way behind, I'd take a chill pill & Mark your calendar to call at a much later date. If you must call, never ever call on a Monday. I'd call Wed or Thurs 7am-10am, or 5-6:45pm on same days.
