One note of seriousness… I have to say that my 85 day wait was made somewhat more bearable having this place to lament my impatience with others, curse the DPS and their seeming unresponsiveness, and YES, even celebrate with those that got their LTC along the way. It’s hard to say I’ll “miss” this place, but I certainly will miss the little bit of camaraderie that comes with commiserating with other like-minded people.

And now, for the 3rd time in my life, I go out into the world as a responsible, legally-armed and "prepared to defend myself and those I love"-citizen. Never letting this lapse again. Now if you'll excuse me.... I got some shopping to do. Stay safe out there folks and be safe.

Most excellent. I was airing the tires on my road bicycle when our mailman pulled up and handed me my mail. My card was in the bundle. First trip out was a 25 mile ride from my house to Sundance Square and back. My litter Blackhawk IWB holster for my XDS 9 fit really well in my bib riding shorts.

Are you clipping on the the bib 'waist' between the suspenders, or turning the clip sideways and clipping onto the suspender? Enquiring roadie (Motobecane Mirage Pro) minds with LTC's want to know!

Mavs I will miss you, but not so much that I'm sad to see you go! Very happy for you, one of the long-suffering. I hope to join you soon, but as it stands I have no change in status, the State Rep's office hasn't replied to my last email, the RSD gives me conflicting stories...

and I left the waiting room. I just couldn't take the February people and their woo-hooing. I don't begrudge them the privilege, its just hard to make as an 80 day waiter. So, on a whim today I looked at the forum, and I'm glad I did.

On my waist between the suspenders. It rides well for me. Maybe a small adjustment on occasion.
