70+ day wait

My timeline:

CHL Class 12/20/15
Online app, document submission, and confirmation email: 12/21/15
Fingerprints 12/23/15

Website status change? Nope.
Plastic in hand? Not yet.

I'm 70 days in as of today and have yet to get any updates. I've called in 3 times and only get the same response each time: "We have your paperwork. Please be patient." I hate to whine but I'm getting pretty frustrated with this whole process.

I do have one non disqualifying arrest from 12 years ago (no convictions), but otherwise have a squeaky clean record.

Is there anyone else at 70+ days now?

Day 69 for me.... What makes me frustrated more than the wait itself is when I read of people who submitted well after me receiving their approval/license. The only thing on my record is a couple speeding tickets from 20 years ago. :banghead:

The TAC says 60 days but may take up to 180 days. I've been watching and reading and this might help. Grab a calender and from your confirms that everything's been received, count out 60 business days. I know it doesn't say business, just an observation on what I've observed on this board.
Texas is a shall issue state. If you are not disqualified, you shall receive

Best of luck
