30 days since mailed: License issued

Pretty pleased with the speed of the process so far!

3/31/07: Took the CHL class
4/2/07: Completed fingerprints
4/3/07: App in mail, USPS Priority
4/19/07: PIN came in mail, online status says "Processing"
5/1/07: Status change to "License issued"

Hoping to get it in the mail in a few days!

Me too. At least the website says mine has been approved. At least checking the mail once per day is better than checking the DPS website several times per day. :smile:

When did you actually send yours in? It seems like your 60 days are coming up soon, so it should be approved then, unless they can give you a good reason why it hasn't.

Mailed in app - 03/07/2007
Received by DPS - 03/08/2007
Receieved pin - 03/26/2007
Processing Application status verified - 03/26/2007
Application Completed - license issued or certificate active - 05/01/2007
Current Status (Day 57, 05/03/2007): "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

I'm on my way home now. Maybe mine will be waiting for me, too. :grin:

EDIT: nope, no plastic today. Perhaps I'll have a reason to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. :hurry:
