My initial in Jan 09 was 60 days. Didn't use a mailbox to send my renewal. Emailed my docs the same day I completed the online app. So, my app completion to plastic in hand (which was yesterday) was 38 days.

Mailed March 1 so I'm now at Day 64 and still at background review.

I mailed March 18 and still no status update "Waiting to receive..."

I'm noticing a trend. A lot of people seem to have received plastic on 5/2. The funny thing is their mailed/submitted online dates (when DPS had all their info) are very different. I think that these things pile up till some one grabs a handful of them and knocks a bunch out at one time.

DPS shows they mailed plastic on April 30th. I figure mail man will bring it either tomorrow or mon/tues.

Sent in packet March 1st got application recieved April 19th background check around the 27th I believe but after all this time I stopped tracking background check took 2 days then manufacturing pending then manufacturing then mailed It took me 4 days to get it and I live in Dallas Texas post marked 05/02/13 so really 2 days in the mail but they say allow 10 business daysit took 64 days mailbox to mailbox not counting I did my app on feb 16 took class on 02/11/13.

I forgot to say it takes along time to get it so when you mail your packet no need to check everyday youll stress yourself out.
