3/18 emailed my required docs in.
4/15 email notified that required docs received.


Now more waiting.

Wow nearly a Month just to confirm received. Just got my stuff submitted, waiting is going to drive me crazy.

I never received an email.
3/25 completed online app for renewal and emailed docs
4/25 first update - Manufacture Pending
4/26 Mailed

That's fast. I mailed off completed app 2/13 and I'm still in background check. Took 8 weeks to even get an update.

I am still without an update. Its has almost been 2 months since I emailed the docs, and a month since they downloaded them.The online ststatus still says waiting on the required docs. I am going to call today.

That's crazy. I was only 38 days from online app/emailed docs to plastic in hand on my renewal. The timelines are all over the place and just don't make any sense.

I called today. The guy was as helpful as the status update web page. He said to me when did you submit your documents? I said I had emailed them in to them mid march. Which he replied thats weird. He could not tell me why they have not updated my status.

That is strange. Should have been able to pull everything up no problem. I called before mine was updated just to make sure everything went through electronically ok. He was able to see everything.

Finely, an update today. I am pending the background checks. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

Congrats. Soon the streets will be safer.

It's only been 2 weeks for me. Waiting wouldnt be bad if I knew they (DPS) at lease recieved my Check List I mailed USPS.
I didnt send certified.

My Status changed to :
Background Check : Under review
*Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

I mailed USPS on May 24th.
