Well looks like myself rickyrick and teri got mailed! Which sounds good but has now become the new dreaded wait game... I have seen many that showed mailed on a saturday wait a week and then actually mail and some went straight out the door So it's again not so predictable! I guess we will see the effect of being in various locations and the outcome on mail service. I am in Killeen area so it should not take to long for a letter to go 60 miles or so...I will be looking at the mail box for sure come Monday. Then if it goes as quick as my background check seemed to go I will be seeing it with my Christmas cards! only kidding! well then we shall wait... ....(patiently).

6/4/12 Mailed packet regular USPS (after checking rechecking and checking again to make sure it was right!)
6/14/12 First change appears online showing recieved all stuff and in background check
7/12/12 28 LONG days later "Manf Pending" Backgound complete.
7/13/12 Manufacturing.
7/14/12 Mailed.
7/??/12 Recieved....soon I hope.

This should be an interesting race! I live north of Dallas. I have had items shipped from Dallas and travel to Tennessee before they hit my door. Just something for you to chew on while you wait for your plastic to make what should be a 60 mile trip....I'm just sayin'....

My status went "Mailed" on 6/15, received on 7/3; I live in the Austin area. IJS

Mine is still manufacturing pending, so y'all will still beat me.

So that means it will make it to the DFW area in just a week.

Well... Of course I went to check the mail box and....well...maybe tomorrow If not I will be gone on vacation and will not be back till Aug.2nd... ...For the rest of you good luck!

Mine too. But application : received is still highlighted yellow. Everything else is green. Anyone know if this is normal?

My permit status was mailed as of 7/17/12
No idea when it will show up.
I took my weapon out of my truck because now I assume
if pulled over CHL will flag on the Cops routine vehical check and being licensed
I can't have a weapon without a CHL on me.
So I'm naked. So to speak.

I wondered about that, but I think your still allowed to have it in your vehicle. I've been pulled over and had handgun in the car. One time they asked to run the serial no# but had no issues with me having a gun.

Mine was also mailed out on 07/14. I live in the DFW area so I'm guessing I'll have it by Saturday.
