I've been lurking around this forum since I took my class. Got a lot of good information and a few questions already answered, thanks forum and community :) I do have a quick question about my status though.
I am positive I sent my classroom/proficiency training form with my packet. I was looking over a copy of my entire packet and noticed I did not put a date on the form. Could this be why it is saying "Not Received?"
Also passport photo holder : Under Review? I signed in the middle, maybe it wasn't to their definition of middle? lol

Class and online application = 21 April 2012
Finger prints = 24 April 2012
Packet Received = 08 May 2012



Application : Received
Fingerprints : Complete
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Under review
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Not received, notice sent to applicant
Proof of Proficiency training : Not received, notice sent to applicant
Proof of Special Condition : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Under review
Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review

I can respond to the passport photo under review. I had the same issue and it was because my passport photos where not to their liking. They said they could not see my eyes, so I had to take new ones and send them in. It delayed the process by 2 weeks. Hopefully you will get a letter in the mail soon and they will tell you the corrective action as this is what happened to me.

Thanks for your respond. I considered that possibility but when taking the picture at the class we had to take three pictures because I always close my eyes when the flash goes off lol.
Hopefully they'll send a corrective action soon so I can fix and resubmit before my background check is completed.
