Does anyone know why it takes longer for some than others? My wife and I sent in our applications at the end of February, mine now says that it is being manufactured, and my wife's says that it is still waiting. She just received her citizenship, you would think that she has been checked out plenty before now. I really expected her to have hers way before me.
Also, how long does it take from the point that the site says manufacturing to receiving the license in the mail?

Some information is collected by snail mail. You have to think, three days travel to and three days back to DPS, plus processing time on each end adds 5 or 6 days, that's two weeks at least.

That's what I figured. Amazing I sell things to the government and they want it yesterday, but if we want something we have to wait on them, just great!
