The only good thing about having to wait is I now have time to find the right gun that I want to carry. I'm thinking an HK USP Compact.

I hope my process goes as fast as yours did. I am at 13 days from DPS receipt of paperwork and still no status change to background review.

Good luck! I'm not sure how, but it seems like mine went right to the top of the paper work. No complaints from me :)

Got it! The weird thing is, they used my DL picture, not the one I sent to them in my CHL packet.
