Well, I took the test today and passed with flying colors. Shot 248/250. I was really hoping and trying for a for a 250, but one flier ruined that plan. Considering how cold the indoor range was (my hands were numb after the range session), I'll take it without complaint.
The ten hours went buy much faster than I expected except for the boring and somewhat dated 70 minute video. I thought it would never end!
Now on to the most difficult part of the process...waiting.
I am not a patient person (sigh).
I'm officially now in the waiting room!

Welcome to the longest wait of your life. Congrats on the score, I only shot a 242. I'd like to think I've improved since then though.
My packet was received on Nov 22nd at DPS, and I haven't been sent my PIN yet, though they tell me it's passed prelim background and I should get it soon.
Again, welcome.

Hey, 242 is nothing to be ashamed of. Based on what I saw yesterday, most people (myself included) shot the course of fire too fast. I think everyone was just wanting to get back into the warmth of the classroom!Congrats on the score, I only shot a 242
