I sent my package certified mail on the 21st of February, got the card back on Friday the 24th that the package had been received in the "Mail Room". The USPS is quick at least! I have disciplined myself to only check twice a day to see if the status has changed. Nothing yet.

I could have sworn its been a month since I mailed the stuff!

They received mine on 2/3 but the status didn't update until 2/15 to BG review

Status updated today to all items received and background check under review! Progress!

I mailed my packet on the 21st. They got it on the 23rd. Status today, background check under review. We're in the same pile. I hope it's the fast pile.

How come it takes 15 minutes for a background clearance to buy a gun but two weeks or more to get a background done for the CHL?
