A Week To Deliver to DPS?

#1

Post by EricB »

Probably just anxious, but mailed my package last Monday, the 23rd. Put more postage than probably needed, and handed it to the post office folks instead of dropping it in a mailbox. Status on DPS web page still says "awaiting" my package to them.

Should I be concerned yet? :confused5

Nope. Give DPS a few days to update their web site.

In the meantime, spend lots of time reviewing this forum. Lots of good info here (and good people, too!).

I feel your pain! It took 2 weeks for it to show received from when I mailed mine. That feeling of the "lost packet" is horrible! But give it some time...it will get updated on the website.

Thanks, y'all... I knew I was just getting itchy britches.

Love this forum, great info, and fantastic folks here! Been carrying my piece around the house, and really the thing I have the most trouble getting used to is having my wallet in my left rear pocket instead of the right.

Good point. I have always carried my wallet in my left rear pocket, so I did not have to make a change. I did try to carry my EDC knife in the right rear pocket, but all of my IWB holsters make that pretty hard to do.

I was told by one of the DPS techs that it can sit in the mail room for a week before they start to process.
