Woohoo! Finally updated to "mailed!"

129 days after submitting everything, I finally have a status of "mailed!"
Knowing my luck, someone's gonna forget to stick it in the mailbox or some nonsense.

I have just realized why they all say the wait after mailing is the worst part.
When waiting for the background check, you at least could log in and check the website 20 times a day.
Now that it is mailed, there is absolutely NOTHING i can do but wait.

Great, congrats. Mine was supposed to have been mailed Monday, according to somebody I talked to, but it still says "Manufacturing." We're almost there, though!

I wish I knew. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone I spoke with, and then out of the blue... poof! Manufacturing.
I'll tell ya, I don't have a very high opinion of the people operating those phones. 3 times I tried calling and as soon as I was taken off hold, the call was disconnected. Twice I was given the name of the tech working my app, and transferred to her voicemail (nobody ever responded to the voicemails, even though I was just looking for a simple "yes" or "no" to the question: "Is there a problem with my application?") and I kept getting quoted the timeframe of "within the next week or two" for several weeks...
When it comes time for renewal, I'm just gonna send everything in as early as possible and not bother tracking it.

In your case, a quick call to your reps office, or the Gov's office, would have moved mountains. There is no reason for you to have been treated that way. I have read numerous accounts of people having to resort to their elected officials to get a little respect, and respect they do get!
