A sobering process

This whole process of getting my CHL has caused me to do some deep introspection about who I am and what I'm capable of. Not a bad thing. I'm a little nervous, but I believe I'm ready.
I do plan to receive training above and beyond the basics.

Application : Received
Fingerprints : Complete (10/6/11 date I did fingerprints)
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received (11/12/11 date I took class, 11/14/11 date I mailed everything)
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Proof of Special Condition : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Completed (11/23/11)
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing (11/29/11)
Received License : 12/3/11

If you REALLY want to worry, try getting a security clearance "rlol"

Sounds like yours got on the right desk. I mailed mine same date (11/14) and it didn's show received till the 23rd. It has been in "waiting on background check" since.

I can beat that I mailed back the requested clerk search it was received now for 11 days but the tech says she hasn't got it. She keeps saying that's all she needs to issue. Very frustrating. She also suggested I pay for another certified search and mail it in. Why to have the Same happen again? 64 days and counting.........
