Mailed paper work to state on Monday, here it is Friday and the state still shows waiting on paper work. I know that its only two days to Austin by mail. I hope the state is just slow to post that they have received my papers.

Thank you very much for the reply. Thats what I was hoping for.

I mailed mine on October 17, via USPS with Delivery Confirmation, which showed it to be delivered on October 19. On October 27, it finally showed to be 'Received' by the state.

My guess is that it is there, just waiting to be scanned into the system.

I know it is easy to get impatient.

I waited over 30 days and the website still showed waiting for paperwork. When I called the first time after a couple of weeks, they told me to wait 30 days. After 30 days, I called the second time and they still had no record of my info on the website.

Then suddenly, it showed received and then 24 hours later it was mailed. Go figure.

I have come to the opinion that your status will show "Waiting on paperwork", until the moment someone actually takes your paperwork in hand and starts the process. I think, at that moment, they update your status. Mine took almost exactly 30 days.

Finaly got past the BG check and now waiting on manufacturing of plastic.

No plastic yet. I would guess sometime next week.

Yep, I've noticed it's taken about a week or so for the website to update. Hopefully it gets here soon!!
