Its only been a little over a month and Im probably just pissin in the wind so to speak but has anyone here gotten their CHL "before" it was updated on the dps site.
I keep telling myself not to look but I cant help it. I may need Dr Drew LOL!
Then after I see no status change I check the mailbox anyway. It seems like I'll get that publishers clearing house check before my plastic.

Yes, that has happened.

A month is about long enough these days. It would not hurt to call DPS.

You're lucky you didn't apply back when getting a CHL took longer than gestating a colt horse.

my fingerprints and background took a while... I did a dance when it turned green. lol, Not really, but if I didnt have titanium in my back I would! anyway, hang in there it is worth the wait! Unless you have something real shady in your past you are prolly ok.

Sad thing is that I have barely carried since I got it. I checked that page 10 times a day before I got it though. lol.

I hear that. I'll get my plastic hopefully sometime early August, then promptly getting on a plane to Boston to go to school for the next 9 months. It'll be the better part of a year before I get to carry for longer than a week
