Welcome to the waiting room, and the forum. I hope your wait is short. You might check the Jan, and Feb applications to get an idea of the wait times. The DPS is doing a great job in turning the apps around quickly.

Finally sent mine in yesterday! Took the class in 2005 and let time run out before I sent it in. Oops! 
BTW, with the paper form (not printed off dps website) do you have 1 year or 2 to send it in?

DPS doesn't show any activity yet...but I'll now keep a watch on that site. I'm feeling a little Antici....{say it...say it...}

Found these site while googling about a pistol I recently bought.
So...
Took class 2/27/10
Mailed application certified mail 3/01/10
DPS Received 3/04/10
Checked cashed 3/09/10

Well the wait begins for all of you. Hope the wait is a short one.
You know you can keep track of the wait period by keeping a 'time line' of your progress, and not have to keep re-typing it.
It's done by going into the user control panel.....click on user profile tab at the top.....edit signature.
you have a total of 200 characters so don't be to wordy.

New to the forum.
My paperwork arrived at DPS last Thursday and I'm trying my hardest to wait patiently for my pin.
