I can't complain about DPS being slow. DPS received my application on 7/5, began processing on 7/14, and I just checked and it said it was complete/license active.

That is only 18 working days.

Thanks to txinvestigator and the boys (and girl) at DFW Gun Range for being so thorough on the paperwork and ensuring that everything in the packet was proper. I had absolutely no hiccups on this submission at all.

Thanks again Jeff.

Yes, it is very beneficial to the applicant for the instructors to ensure the paperwork is complete. I appreciate it very much.

I spoke too soon about the plastic, it was in the mail yesterday when I got home, so that is 23 working days from receipt to delivery. Maybe they are speeding up.

I'm good to go until 2011!
