I am curious if there is anyone else still waiting that submitted their paperwork in July? I have contacted my state representative and received immediate response that a request has been made that my license be expedited, however, this still has not happened. Am I the last one left from July that did not have any problems with photos, fingerprints, or paperwork?

i think i saw the janitor in there sweeping up .

but seriously , that's a long wait , especially not to have had issues with fingerprints or photos ect.
hopefully you will get your "approved" message any day now .

Every request I send or call and ask for a status, I get a rude response from the staff that just says they are waiting on the background check and there is nothing they can do.

what county are you in ?

I hope I'm the last of the July group. After having my license denied and all the dealings I had with DPS to get it cleared up, this morning my status changed to approved! And wouldn't you know it, today's a federal holiday so I doubt it will get in the mail until tomorrow. Time will tell....

Thanks USA1, it's still hard to believe. I think I've logged into the DPS website about 10 times today just to be sure my eyes aren't lying!
