"Sent to print" means?????

I contacted Jessica on 9/26 and she told me my CHL was "sent to print" and should be mailed soon. Today I get a letter from them stating that "due to unforeseen circumstances with the catastrophic events of Hurricane Ike, there has been a delay in processing my application....." So I thought, that doesn't apply to me because mine is in the print shop. Evidently I am wrong. This afternoon I called to confirm this and was told Jessica had made a "mistake". What she meant to say was that my confirmation letter stating they had received the additional information I sent. Now I am totally confused and sounds like they are. I asked to speak to Heather and was told they would have someone call me within 48 hours. So yet another clock starts.

Anybody know what "sent to print" means?

Liars must have a good memory to be successful. The people at DPS are not skilled in this area. I had the same issue with getting different answers on different days. You will have to get with a supervisor, or just wait and see what happens next.

Heather is supposedly a supervisor, so we'll see who calls, and when pray tell.
