Ok. Received pin today (29 days after they received the application including holdiday),not too bad I guess, but it felt a lot longer.
Shows application processing, of course. Was still good to hear something from our great state.
Wife and I sent apps off at same time. They received them same day and we received pins the same day.
Both say same status. I would have thought they would have gotten separated somewhere during this time, but they didnt.
She will get her CHL before I do, since she was a good girl the whole time with the law. I had a hiccup or two, or three.
At least we heard something, now its on to entering the pin daily to see if anything changes.

I applied online so I've had my PIN since before the application was sent to Austin. The daily checks get quicker as you get in the habit of filling in the information. It took about 30 days for my status to change from "Packet Mailed" to "Application Processing" as well. I'm not convinced that the online process is any different than the traditional method. The positive for me is they could read the application as my writing is terrible.
