A lot of folks waiting and wondering about current process time. I took the class 9/23, mailed 9/26, recieved in Austin 9/29, check cleared bank 10/4, status changed to licensed issued 11/14. Did not do the app on line. Just did everything on day of class. Not sure how many days that is, and don't really care. For all you folks still waiting there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Good luck

Maybe, but some tunnels are longer than others

Forty seven days by my count. That gives me a lot of hope for getting my plastic before Christmas. Although that will probably make all of the other gifts seem pretty lame.

I see your from Austin... did you just walk it into the DPS? I wonder if that would make things speed up or if that would 'tik them off and they would definitely put you at the bottom of the stack for a while!

I went to get my app packet in person. My experience with the CHL folks at the DPS HQ was positive. The lady that helped me was friendly and helpful. They are busy there, so you probably have to wait a few minutes for them to get someone up front to help you. I doubt you'd get a new app thrown at the bottom of some naughty pile for bringing it in person.
