Will the status change on renewals?

Called in around 3rd week of May and my prints had come back from the FBI. She said could be up to another 12 weeks!

Called in last week and she said it was "in process" and I still had a couple weeks left on my 45 business days.

renewals can be done online and no fingerprints are required. Basically the same process as renewing a driver license now.

Yeah that's what I did but your old fingerprints still have to meet some new requirements. Last renewal I did was were you had to "refresh" your training. Glad that's over since last time I drove down to Dallas to do it.

Have you called them? I sent my paperwork in through snail mail beginning of May and no email showing they got it. So I called yesterday and they just recently put it on the system. The gentleman I spoke with said it was all in, and now "in processing". I would suggest calling them. Time I called was roughly 2pm.

I had nothing required other than to RENEW on line and pay. I did all that on 4/8. My 45 days started immediately. I have spoken to them twice and confirmed that they had everything they need. There has been no changes on the site and today is day 70. I am REALLY not happy.

Just for documentation purposes...
I just spoke with the state office and was told that my permit was flagged for delivery and should go out tomorrow (on day 73). I should allow "2 weeks for delivery". SMH
There has yet to be a change of status on the website.

June 20th : Received new license in the mail.

Amazing. Tomorrow is 60 calendar days on my renewal. I'll hit the 45 business day statue on Friday.
