I finally got a status update today. I'm waiting on the background check and have to send the photo holder in.

The Republic is really not wanting to review my application. Mine would have gotten there on June 1st. Still getting the "we sent ours, send yours back" message.

That's exactly what mine shows. I believe the application cannot be completed until the background check is.

it took me nearly a full 3 weeks to see anything. It's hard to do but I suggest checking on Saturday mornings instead of like me and every half hour. I'm not checking as often but still log in about three or four times a day. Here's to you seeing your status in two weeks (hopefully sooner) :cheers2:
I have been doing my best to side track myself with work and this computer project hehe, I will be checking again monday :coolgleamA:

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've been lurking for a while. I sent in my application on 06/17 but so far I can't see it online. I wish I had FedEx'ed it instead of sending it via USPS so I at least knew they had received the application for sure :banghead:

if you sent the documentation to the correct address, trust its there.

Also know, it will take up to 3 weeks to show up online, which means the next 40 days or so (normally) will be the most frustrating and anxiety filled times you have ever had.

My suggestion, forget about it until after July 4th, then check online, it may or may not be there yet, but being it will be 40 days until you get plastic, and probably July 7 or 8 before anything shows up anyway, just kick back, read the forum, learn as much as you can and relax :)

Thanks for the advice, I have plenty of things to keep me busy in the summer thankfully and will try not to think about the CHL for a few weeks but it really is easier said than done

The DPS still doesn't want to play right with my application...today is day 23 since they received it and still not status update.

We are a little slow at work, so I am checking it way more often than I should. I need to get myself on an "overachiever" project so I can keep from looking.
