Thanks :tiphat:

There still could be changes over the weekend. Don't give up hope on this week yet.

Hoping for a great week with some great changes :thewave

Going out of town on Thursday and hoping to be in manufacturing by then (if not mailed). :waiting:

Frustrating to see so many people changing to mailed that were behind me or at least same time as me :banghead: :banghead:

I sent them an email on Friday. Hoping to either get an update or an email response in next couple days.

I received a response from DPS regarding my email that I sent last week. Of course it was their standard response:
A review of our records indicates that your completed Texas Concealed Handgun license application was received on 3/28/2012. You must allow 60 days for processing. We do not consider your application overdue until after 5/28/2012. You may track your status online at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, Concealed Handgun Section, as long as you have all of the required information.
Maybe that pulled my file to the top of the stack and I will get some movement on it soon. I sure don't want to wait another 20 days. :mad5

That sucks!

Sounds like you need to go the range and shoot some steam off :fire :fire :fire

That should make you feel better for a little bit.

Hope it is not too long of a wait. :waiting: :waiting: :waiting:
You first update will be about 2-3 weeks just to say they received your packet.
You will spend about 2-3 weeks in Background Check
Then about another Week once it goes to Mailed status...

This is the trend that i have seen and pretty much experienced as well.

Mine went to Mail Wednesday 5/9, I'm anxious to get home to see if I have plastic in my mail box... but I am expecting to be disappointed...
