DPS got back to me with my PIN in less than one business day. :thumbs2: Now to get through the class and the forms next month...

Honestly it goes by pretty fast. As long as you actually have something to do (work, school, etc.) you will forget about it sometimes.

:iagree:
im already at 70+ days and im wondering where the time went...i think it helps to not dwell on how many days its been.
im just now starting to realize "i dont have a holster yet" ....i think its time to do some shopping now.
:patriot: P.S. i do check the status more than once per day :waiting:

Yeah, I just counted and today is day 60 since they have received my packet. It has not honestly felt like 2 months, just because I've been so busy. Knowing I have pretty much another one to go (most likely), I just try not to think about it. Hell I don't even have my carry gun yet. I really just took the class so that I wouldn't have to do it once I did buy my gun

since you dont live in Harris County , you may get your plastic sooner than you think. it would be ashamed if you got it before you got your weapon of choice.

It's gonna be awhile before I get my gun. Got a lot of other things on the plate right now. Probably won't be until this winter :( but I'd rather get what I want than buy something cheaper

New to the forum; waited until I received my PIN to post. Located in Bexar County, same address for 2 years. Previously in Kansas City, MO, two addresses over 13 years. Another data point to help estimate waiting time.

Welcome to the forum Dr.Bill! Great to have you here.

What kinds of guns do you own? (That was the first question posed by several board members on my first posting. I think it's the rule).
