Actually, if you move prior to getting the plastic you can call them and do the change of address without paying the fee. At least that is what they did for me as I neared the 120 day mark and moved (I hadn't even been contemplating moving when I turned in the app).getusumtx wrote:Hi everyone...I to am approaching the 60 days and counting. I went from packet mailed to applicant to processing application in what I thought was record time. I was saddly mistakin. I hope to receive my plastic within the next month, as I am moving and my address will change.

Re: 60+ days and counting
You April guys are behind the yet to be completed March guys. As of about a week ago, they were just getting to the Mid March group. I am as anxious as the next guy, but it hasn't helped to get in a hurry so far. Another issue i have now become very aware of is pin numbers. The pin being issued or not being issued does NOT mean your application is being worked or not being worked. I have been lead to believe they have a group of folks who do nothing more than enter data in the computer. I have discovered that your application and background check could very well be in the works with no data being entered, thus you would have no pin. Applying online gets you an immediate pin, but means nothing as far as processing goes.
One last comment I will make. A month or so ago, sending a letter to your representative would get you some special consideration, and you would be able to cut in front of us non-winers. So many folks are now sending letters in to their representatives asking for help that it means less and less as far as getting you ahead of everyone else. You might as well sit back and enjoy the ride at this point.
I would not be surprised to see 120 days processing time become the norm in the next month or so.![tiphat :tiphat:](./images/smilies/tiphat.gif)
