Well they finally got my Training Completed form (where the instructor had put in "same as above" instead of filling out printed name, location and date). Now it's just down to Bacground check under review.

After hearing of a few others with prior military taking a bit longer, it looks like this may take awhile for me too. I retired after 25 years in the Army, and had a full background investigation every two years for my Top Secret/SBI clearance. I know my prints are on file at the FBI a bunch of times! Hopefully they'll figure it out soon, and get my check completed.

At least it should take less time, as my clearances in the military took about a year to complete each time (but thats when they sent investigators door-to-door to check you out).

I'll pour another cup of coffee and sit back I guess...

Well, the Pony Express didn't have anything in the mail for me yesterday. Strike that... If it had been the Pony Express, I would have recieved my plastic yesterday. I just didn't get it via US Mail.

I wouldn't want to disparage the Pony Express! :-)

Maybe today will be the day...

Did you know yesterday was a Federal holiday? I'm betting you didn't get ANY mail.

Wasn't able to convey my sarcasm anywhere near correctly.

Obviously, didn't get any mail on Friday. But didn't get anything on Thursday or Saturday either. Highly unusual. Not even a piece of junk mail. So I have my doubts that they even worked those days. ;-)

They were probably planning for their Friday on Thursday, and recovering from their Friday on Saturday!

Good luck on Monday. If you're timetable is anything like mine was, Monday should be the day,,, :txflag:
