How long did it take to get your plastic after your status changed. Only counting only days that mail runs it has been 7 days for me and it's still not here. I'm 100 miles north of Austin

I looked at a change of address post and some of the people in there would submit there change of address on Monday and have there new license on Friday. I'm happy for them that it happens that fast but it is very frustrating for me :banghead:

Well you all, please believe me when I say I totally understand! If you have that status change, know that 'the check is in the mail.' And it probably is in the mail, or close to it. Be patient.

I know lol. I wasn't that worried about it till yesterday. I live in a little bit of a rural area. Outside of town with a town of 7000 people but only 100 miles from Austin. So what happened yesterday was I get the mail box (that day would be day 6 for me) and we had some things in there but one of the letters was for a person that I fix a/c u it at his house last year. Letters get mixed up once a month or so. So I wondering did Mr Bob get my chl. I went to his house to drop the letters off at his house none was home so I put the letter In the door. Hopping that would get him to bring me mine if he has it. Iv been by 3 more times and still not home. So now I don't know if it is stolen or lost in the mail or maybe it is riding to the back of a turtle

I feel for ya. I know what you mean. I hitchhiked from Henrietta through Mexia many years ago on my way to Bryan. Keep the faith. Make a phone call to DPS next Wednesday, if you haven't received it by then. :thumbs2:

I submitted a lost chl (paid the bill) (wanted veteran on license) on a Sunday and had new chl that Friday. this was last week. Hang in there it will come.
I waited 62 days for mine to show up a few years ago. :fire

I'm sure trying to hang in there lol. Is been 66 days sense I had all my paperwork in and it has been "in the mail" for 9 days. Still no license today. I got a bulk letter in the mail today that came from San Antonio that was mailed on 3/9 and San Antonio is 100 miles farther away than Austin

It took 3 days from status change until it was put through the postal system and then 2 days until it was sitting in my mailbox. (Envelope was post-dated 3 days after I got my status change.)

My daughter and her best friend applied at the same time, took the class together, fingerprints together and submitted everything at the same time. My daughter got her license in weeks but her friend's status still has the original message saying to wait ample time for them to receive all of the required material. It has now been weeks and she still has the same message. I have told her to call but do not think she has yet.

Looks like mine either didn't really get mailed or it was truly lost in the mail. Issued on 3/11 and I finally gave up waiting and applied for a lost license. Cost me another 14 bucks, but I'm tired of waiting.

Finally, its in my wallet !! Submitted on Sunday, In the mailbox on friday :clapping:
