Address change.. Wow

Incase anyone else needs to do an address change and is wondering on wait time.
I submitted my address change on Saturday and today (Thursday) got my new card. So on 4 days!
DPS works quick!

I just submitted for a replacement to get the 'VETERAN' on it...let's see how quick it returns...

Just checked status. The other day, it said wait 48 hours before checking...now, it says, "If you have a pending CHL application, please allow sufficient time for processing." Maybe that means it is already on it's way??

As an update, I received my replacement plastic on the 13th...five days from submission to mailbox...excellent!

My replacement with Veteran on it came in 5 days, Paid the bill on Sunday 3-1-15 new license came the following Friday 3-6-15

I just loved where they put Veteran on the license to. Just where it should be, could have been a little big bigger but it still works.

I did a lost license request, I got my new license with veteran on it and I noticed they changed my license number. I wonder why they would do that?

Because your other was lost. Not any different that losing a credit card and they give you a new number so they can invlidate the old one.
