Well, TexasDem, you beat me! Since yours was listed as "Manufacturing" on the same day as mine was, I'm assuming yours was marked as "Mailed" on Wednesday, like mine. Is that right?TexasDem wrote:CHL just came in!

5/24/13 - Delivered

Re: "Waiting Room"
I was in background for 5 days, I've seen others in bg for weeks and months. I seen posts where it was said it depends on what county you live in. Suggesting smaller counties go faster. I live in Harris county and mine cam back in 5 days. My time line was 62 days from mailbox to mailbox. Mailed allon 3-11 plastic in hand on 5-11 Hang in there it was show up Mine said mailed on 5-7 it was posmarked 5-9 so they lay in a box for a day or so.

Re: "Waiting Room"
78 days - I quit checking and my wife checked mail today and there was my card. No rime or reason for it to be delayed in "back ground" check for 37 days.

Maybe they thought you were going "into the wild blue yonder" and "flying high" without your plane?TexasG wrote:78 days - I quit checking and my wife checked mail today and there was my card. However, weird as this is - my FFL and instructor got a call from the federalies' asking generic "character" questions...... and I'm Air Force retired -
I am some what (very) vocal on the the Tea Party webs and Patriotic stuff....
This past Monday, when I picked up my last purchase from my FFL who happens to be my CHL instructor - he mentioned he had been called/questioned about my character.
Just kidding. I'm former AF and my brother just retired as a Brig Gen. Great respect for you guys who made it a career. Thank you for your service.
