Alright guys and gals. My status just changed to mailed today. I wanted to post my story of this process, because I was looking for information on my situation in this forum and could not find it. Anyways here we go. About six years ago I had been arrested on a crap charge of interfering with public servant Class "B" MisdemeanorI guess he didnt like that I asked him while he was arresting my brother, why he was arresting my brother. His partner put me in braclets and took me with my brother. Anyways I had to plead out to this charge in order to keep my job. So I plead out to it and took my suspension and moved on with my life. Well when the time came that I wanted to get my CHL I was a little discouraged because of this charge on my record. I did it anyways and it has been approved. This story is for some of the folks out there who may have a similar charge that may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time who wish to get their CHL but dont think they can. Well I am here to tell you it is possible. Also I had called DPS and asked what the status was on my CHL he told me that it will probably take 60 days especially if you have a record. So after that, I emailed DPS with the same question. took about 5 days to get back to me and it stated that my BG was done and print pending that was this past tuesday. So again not everything you hear can be true with this process. I will up date yall with my first walle-walk. Have a good day!!!!! :fire :hurry: :thewave
