Another couple join the waiting game

Hi Everyone,

Registered online / received PIN -- January 2007
Took class (with wife) -- 17 February 2007
Packet mailed -- 21 February 2007
Status changed to processing -- 12 March 2007
(Wife had to send back unsigned fingerprint card)
(Finally got around to enrolling in forum -- 17 March 2007)

...and the wait continues.

Welcome to you both. It's good to here about the both of you making the decision to carry. My wife, 4 daughters and 1 son all carry.

Use this time to practice bth shooting and carry around your house. Get used to your method of carry so you will feel more comfotable when it does arrive.

Welcome both of you and hang in there. I was getting flustered. :grumble Hand delivered packet on Jan 12 and recieved Application Completed - license issued or certificate active today mar 20. 68 days GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH ;-)

BTW, I didn't sign my online application page and it only cost me about a 10 day delay.

Alright -- after returning all of her unsigned paperwork about 2 weeks ago, and me carrying religiously for the past month, my wife's CHL was approved yesterday. She ought to have her plastic Monday or Tuesday.

I'm glad it didn't delay her for very long. I wish we could do more to promote the CHL Checklist to help people avoid the more common mistakes. Unfortunately, I think most people find TexasCHLforum after they have their CHL, or they have sent in the application.

Congratulations on becoming a 2 CHL family.
