I read on the Glocktalk forum several people went to a western wear store or went to Wal-Mart and got the thickest belt they had for $30-$40. I'm going to look at WM this weekend. I cant see spending $90+ on a belt from The Belt Man

While it may be possible to find 1 belt that may do the trick, I tried that route, over several belts before I relented and bought a real gun belt, WOW what a difference,
no more gun sag, gun swinging out away from body, amazing difference.

I agree $90 is alot for a belt, but there are other options, in a gun belt, for $30 (see my post just before about blackhawk)

How do you size the gun belts? It doesn't say on there. I wear a 32 pant and want to go up a pant size in the waist. So would I get a 33" belt or in belts go up 2 sizes?

For OWB buy your normal size
For IWB buy 1 size up, remember you can always add holes if you need to cinch it tighter.
I think I bought 1 size up and they are good for me, for IWB.

Just bought one.

I read the reviews and everybody was saying 1-2 up. If it doesn't fit right, they are quick to exchange it. I wear a 32 and got a 36. We'll see in a few days

I think 1-2 sizes up from a 32 would be 33 or 34, so you may be returning it, but once you get the right size, you will not be disappointed in the belt

It went from 32-34-36 in sizes and that's why I got a 36. One guy said "nice belt but WARNING order big 2-3x As others has already mentioned you need to order 2-3x larger than your actual waist size. I'm a size 34 and as a precaution I ordered a size 36 thinking that would be long enough. I could barely get into the first hole and realized I should have at least got a size 38.I contacted Blackhawk and they were very quick and helpful getting my belt sent back for exchange. The belt and buckle is very good quality and should serve you well."

Now I'm wondering if I should have gotten a 38!

Holy crap!! I just talked to them about the sizing she said that belt is on backorder until January 2013!!! :waiting:

She said the way to measure was from where the belt loops over the buckle to the middle hole.
