Status changed to Passport photo holder : Under review

So everything has been moving along, then this morning I check my status and see that my passport photo holder was moved from received to under review. I have been at background review for about a week and a half and it still shows that. Has anyone seen this before? My wife and I took our class and turned everything in at the same time and she has moved to manufacturing.

OK so I called DPS today and they informed me that my pictures got rejected becuase they could not see my eyes. So now I have to wait for a letter from them, go get new pictures, and send them back to them by snail mail. Looks like at least a 2 week delay because the guy at Wallgreens did not do what i paid him to do. This sucks. Now my wife will have hers before me, at least one of us will be able to carry.

I had my pictures taken at the CHL class I went to. The guy taking them knew exactly what needed to be done. Pretty much stinks that you got the added waiting time.

I put the new pictures in the mail on Friday so we will see how long it takes for them to move my status.

OK saw today that they have received my new photos so the status has changed from Passport photo holder : under review to received. My status for background check is still under review so i hope they finish it soon and mail my license.

Finally another change this morning - Background check complete manufacturing pending. Hopefully I will be rocking the plastic next week. My wonderful wife who received hers 3 weeks ago has been patient and waited to do her wally walk until i got mine so we could be together. Will update once mailed.

Fianlly my status changed to mailed this morning. I am hoping to have plastic in hand for this weekend. I followed someone elses sugestion this morning to see if i could tell when they update the website for status changes it looks to be between 6 and 7am. Before going to the gym this morning at 5:45 I check the website and no update then when i got home around 7 the status had changed. So my breakdown was:

Mine was mailed this morning, too!! I hope we have plastic by Friday! Hopefully mail from Austin to Amarillo is speedy this week

I've found that the updates only happen between 6-7:00 a.m., too. Never stopped me from checking it throughout the day, though!

I know what you mean about the mail. The good thing for me is I live about 20 miles outside Austin so you would think they could get it here quick. I will post as soon as it arrives. Good luck to you.

I receive my plastic today. Postmarked on 5/1/2012 just yesterday. No more waiting.
