look at the Bright Side. At least you won't be wasting your time looking for your status on their Website, two, three times a day for 2 months. That's what happened to me. I had to Force myself not to look.
Good Luck,

Welcome to the Waiting Room, Golfer. I've been in here so long I'm surprised they're not charging rent.

I haven't gotten a PIN from DPS and I don't think I want one now. It would probably only serve to make my blood pressure go up. You could email them for one, but it might be better not to know the daily status.

I suppose you guys are right but I would rather check the website from the comfort of my home than going down to the mailbox with my hopes up :(

I emailed them today and a whole 6 minutes later I had my PIN. No more running down to the mailbox, I can just check it from home!

You dont have to pay rent in the WR but this is a place you pay some of your dues.
They include, but are not limited to:
Choose you primary carry weapon.
Decide on BUG if you choose one.
Choose a holster.
Get a good belt.
Choose & ready your wardrobe.
Practice carry at home so you will be comfortable outside.
Range practice.
Learn which ammo your weapon shoots best.
Read the board & glean important info.
Share personal experiences to get acquainted w/ the texaschlforum family.
Welcome aboard. Glad you gentlemen are becoming a part. ;-)

I agree LT!

And Golfer, get that new gun leather ordered now. The order I placed before Christmas with 5shotleather has a 12 week wait. I'm in my 4th week waiting for another holster from FIST, Inc.

It would be nice to be breaking in both at home right now.

Well I have the CTAC and my G36 already. I suppose I should be wearing around the house more than I do. Ive also considered getting real leather, but I will see how the CTAC holds up with daily use.

CTAC - Also a good choice. I am getting the urge to order their Infidel based on the writings I've seen around here.

I ordered this from Fist, Inc. 4 weeks ago and it hasn't come in yet. I'll let you know how it works when I get it. (The one on the left in black).
