Hello all!

New to the forum and right away this topic hit home, unfortunately.

Application mailed and fingerprints submitted on July 19, 2011. I called in on August 3rd to check on things. CHL agent informed me that they had not received my fingerprints. I provided him with TSN#. He told me to check back in a couple weeks, that they were having IT problems with some fingerprints. Called back 3 weeks later, still no change in my status. Agent informed me that the problem should be resolved "any day now"! Called back again on 9/2, only to be told again that it should be taken care of very soon. At this point I am beyond frustrated! It has been 5 weeks since they started working on recovering my fingerprints and I have yet to get a solid answer out of them as to when this will be resolved.

Is anyone else suffering from the same ill fate as me? Is there anything else I can do to speed this up? I am looking for advice and opinions please!

Apparently lots of us. Wife and I are both waiting and her fingerprints failed a second scan, so they just need to do a "name" search on her

A couple of folks have had good results with an email to the governor. I considered that but decided his office is busy enough without me adding to the workload :txflag:

[/i I checked my status friday morning at 5:30, guess what, Yes it still reads fingerprints "not received" background check "under review", So I get home after lunch and now just for grins and giggles, I decide to check it again at 1:00 I could not believe what I was seeing, fingerprints "COMPLETE" and background check "COMPLETED" and license "MAILED". Wow, after all this frustration.

:woohoo !!!! Bet ya that caught you by surprised. I don't think keeping their system properly updated is always at the forefront of their minds. Glad to hear your good news; you will be able to Wally Walk in a few days!
