Not that I'm aware of.
Kids and I hit Target, Micheal's, Petsmart, and Bucee's today. First day carrying under the authority of my Texas CHL. Does that count?

Sure it counts, just walking out of the house counts. But since Wally world is so prevalent around here it seems more folks make that their fist walk. Well, at least you got out of the house, congrats and take care.

GOT IT !!! 39 days from mailbox to mailbox...had to send in copy of DL which was worth at lease 8-9 days.
The wait is over. Wally Walk tomorrow or Monday!

rinnels69... Congratulations on getting your license even with the delay of drivers license pic return and 39 days is great. Wally walk here you go! Enjoy your walk and remember they have cheap ammo in sporting goods.

But I need to order my Taurus PT 740 Slim....did the Wally walk with an Uncle Mikes IWB holster and my Glock 22C in 40 S&W...a bit bulky (but no printing according to the wife) and the wife said I "looked suspicious"....I would classify it as having too much "situational awareness". Oh well....

Received CHL on 11/11, 30 days from DPS receipt of application. Wally Walk Saturday.....must have been a convention of new CHL holders in the store in Atascocita, lol.....my son pointed out 4 folks with really big cell phone holsters just in the outdoor dept.

My application has been in the hands of DPS for 28 days now. Finger Prints and Back Ground Check are still showing "under review".
