We both have new XD .40's but i'm still undecided on which carry holster i want. Leaning torwards the SuperTuck but i think i would need to buy some looser fitting jeans and shorts to use it cause my wife is a great cook.

Me and my wife took ths chl class and filled out all the paperwork and mailed it in. Don't know the dates though, my beautiful wife took care of all that. They finally updated my status - fingerprints through fee are complete, just waiting on background check.
"Application: Received" still has a yellow caution sign next to it. Is it correct to say that this is something that is not complete until the end like the "CHL: Print Pending..."?

OK, y'all are a bad influence! I wasn't going to check on the weekend because my OCD needed a break, and surely nothing would change - but NOOOOOO.
Our finger prints updated!!! YEAH!
It is getting more painful daily! I know the background check will likely take a bit longer as we have 2 counties, and I understand Harris is notoriously slow
so I will continue to be patient! 
bad thing is I have to figure out how to put this in my sig line

Well found out they cashed our checks on Friday the 15th. So, like everyone else, hurry up and wait. But, all things come to pass to those who wait. I hope. I'm anxious to do the wally walk with the wife and myself. should be interesting. waiting is not a very good virtue that I possess.

Our packets must be working their way around together because my fingerprints changed on the 17th also. I thought I had checked on friday night, so I thought for sure nothing would have changed too. But look at that, 4 days for fingerprints to clear. I just hope the background check does the same thing. At this rate I'll have my plastic with no way to carry. Who ever said that OCD never paid off! Status changed to reflect that I actually sent in an application.
I took the course on 10/2 and mailed my app in on 10/4.
Everything green except for fingerprints and background check.
Now I can relax and settle down to wait impaitiently.
