Congrats, and yes, it does seem like a much much longer process.
I cannot imagine those people that went before us, who had 4-6 month waiting! So for them breaking the way, I am truly grateful!

Congrats! Got your gear ready to go? It'd be a shame if your license was in hand and you had no way to carry.

yea, got my gear ready, got a supertuck deluxe from crossbreed holsters delivered last week, and ill be carrying a 4th gen G17 the main thing i need now is a good gun belt to go with it.

I was not smart enough to order both at the same time and by the time i had already submitted the order i figured i would have to pay extra shipping and wait longer. I am thinking about just getting a quick gun belt for the time being before i actually order a more elaborate one.

and as soon as i got plastic in hand ill be heading to wall-mart to do a little shopping! :biggrinjester:

thanks all for the replies.

not exactly sure, i went from "Processing application" to when i checked it next it was under new format, it showed "Manufacturing" was probably manufacturing for about 2 days. then it switched to mail. so im currently still stalking the mailbox
hoping to get it by (Looks at clock) today Friday. been roughly 4 days, im in Houston so the mail shouldn't take too long.

I bet we get ours on the same day, the new website came out mine said manufacturing and the next day it said mailed. I'm in Houston also. I can't wait to use my mtac with g27 to do the Wally Walk, I'm only going to wallyworld to shop for polish for my chl badge.
