Re: Jan 2010 applications
I took the wrong license back to DPS Wednesday morning, they apologized (one of them laughed), and filled out a lost license form for me. They said it would be processed that day and I should have my real license by next week. The wait begins again....

Mailman just delivered my PIN on a letter dated February 4th.
Quick check on-line indicated Application Processing.
I've read every one of your comments about how slow the time waiting passes....
Just trying to imagine about how slow for everyone last summer.

Still waiting patiently! I am doing my best to wait on the pin number in the mail. Hopefully the license will show up before the pin. That would be a nice suprise

Re: Jan 2010 applications
Just getting around to posting. I'm not sure how they go about sending out PIN info etc. My info was delivered to DPS on 01/27/2010 and still no PIN by mail. I emailed yesterday just to make sure I had everything and nothing was holding up my app. They sent an email back in 21 minutes "At this time,we have everything that is needed from you."

Re: Jan 2010 applications
Since getting my PIN and being able to check the status on-line...a question has occured to me.
Has anyone heard if the fine folks at DPS track the number of times that an applicant checks on their status?
And if they do check, how many times in any given period would be a 'red flag' as excessive to them - bringing up concerns regarding the mental stability of an applicant? Just asking...for a friend who wanted to know.
Meanwhile, I am just waiting and watching the mail (in a most normal sort of way).
