When your status changes to "processing" ?

the dps recieved my packet on 10/24 , ever since my status has read "packet mailed to applicant".

i called a few days ago and the lady that helped me said they were waiting on my background check.

my status today reads "processing application". i'm assuming that they have already made sure that my fingerprints , picture , paperwork ,etc. is okay or i would have heard about it sooner.
do you guys think that's correct ?

i think once you're in that stage, they've got all the paperwork, reviewed for errors, and are now entering you into the system..granted u pass the background check. so yea, if there was a problem you would have seen it on the website.

you should be good to go man! then again, i've only been a chl holder for 5 days so i could be wrong

Today my status is updated to : Application Completed - license issued or certificate active.

good job by the state.
