Depending on your how your mail runs it could possibly be 3-7 days.

Good for you!

Just checked online and my status changed to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" today (it was "Processing" yesterday).

Took the class Saturday, June 10th. My fingerprints are very faint so I didn't even bother doing the ink ones during class.

I live in Austin so I went down to DPS Monday, June 12th and did the electronic scan fingerprint cards for $10 (the technician had to work hard to get acceptable scans so it was a good call on my part to bypass the ink) and turned in my application right then and there.

Received my PIN number July 7th. License issued today, August 14th.

Hopefully I will get the plastic in the mail by the end of the week or first of next week.

Hope you don't mind my sharing this thread with you. But I wanted to update and say that I received my plastic license in the mail yesterday Tuesday, August 15th.

I've read before about people speculating that DPS only mails out licenses on Thursdays. I can say that it's not true in my case. I checked online last Saturday and it said "Processing". Then on Monday, it switched to "Application complete, license active". Then on Tuesday, I received the plastic. The metering postmark on the envelope shows a mailing date of August 14th. So they mailed it out the same day my status changed online. Being in Austin, I received it the following day.
