Re: August 2009 Applications
HEY!! I'm not that old! This is just too funny. You guys are a riot! With friends like you all, who needs enemies? J/K!
No, nothing has changed. Still "processing application". It'll get here when it gets here. And HEY! I do have a life outside this room you know! I was watching Tactical Impact on the TV earlier this a.m.. Good episode if you missed it. Hehe.
And USA1 & Lonewolf, yes that about sums up my accuracy on that target you posted. (keep on believing that and everyone else.) I'm an awful shot....simply horrible. It's despicable how lousy a shot I am. Just ask Looneywuf, he'll tell you.
Lonewolf, I'm looking forward to our next range shoot. I have a gun I've never fired, although I bought it some 25 or 26 years ago, and if I don't get out there to try it out soon, USA1 will have my hide. I have some .380 ammo that's just as old, and prolly a collectors item by now. But I'm gonna use it in my "new" gun. Can't wait to try it out, when the time's right.
And I haven't been shooting since our outing.

Re: August 2009 Applications
Allright team, my moment of greatest happiness has turned into one of great concern. As i previously noted, my license arrived at my parents home in Fort Worth on Mon. It was forwarded to me via U.S. mail at approximately 1330 on the same day. It has not gotten here (Atlanta) yet. I'm really starting to panic. Normally things take 3 days (ie mon-thurs) to get here from home. I'm very concerned. At the least it would be a major pain in the @ss to replace the license. My greater concerns are stolen identity and things of that nature.....The wheels are turning in my head and none of the thoughts do anything to calm me down.....Any recommendations???

Arnold, I wouldn't push the panic button yet. Give it till Tuesday. By chance did your folks send it certified mail? Or how did they send it? Just regular 1st class?

Re: August 2009 Applications
Yeah I'm getting there...It was not in as of 1500 EST today. I can probably keep my cool until Monday. But if its not here by then I'm officially going to flip out. Then calmly call DPS and inform them that I'm gonna need another license. This is so lame. I never even got to touch it or see it with my own eyes.
WEAK......
WEAK......
