Plastic in Hand - 9 months elapsed time

Post by EnglandGreen »

Just glad this ordeal is finally over. I have valid CCWs from CT & FL. CT was 3.5 months from application to plastic, FL was 6 weeks.

Hope everyone else in January got their plastic by now.

:chldancing WOW. Glad you finnaly received the CHL; but, I can't believe you let it go on so long!! :blowup

I wish more people would avail themselves of the remedies in the law. You should have demanded a hearing and gotten this in a fraction of the time. Not to :deadhorse: but my demand letter lead to very rapid issuance. I had a similar delay with my Arizona CHL application. Called when the statutory time frame was up to be told it would be another mont before the background was completed. I Wrote a well constructed letter demanding a hearing under the Arizona administrative code for unlawful delay in issuance and also demanding a refund (part of the AZ statute). 2 days after receipt of my certified letter, the license was issued and I received a full refund of my fees and an apology.

People need to stand up for themselves and stop being sheep :banghead:
